range trip. friday
second day I got to the range. much better day then yesterday shooting wise anyway.
temp. mid 70's
wind: just an breeze maybe 10mph at most.
perfect sky
it is early bow season so I should of been in my stand but I like hunting in cooler weather.
win. apex 45cal
main work 65gr of t7 2f and 275gr powerbelt hp.
play 96/22 lever action with rem (pos) bulk rounds (27 out of 50 round duds and 10 fired would of jammed an semi auto)
and american pioneer 3f. 5 rounds 275gr powerbelt hp, 65grs cci 209 primer.
first two target was shot with 65grs of t3 2f, cci 209 primer (only had 13 cci 209m primers left)
I switch to cci 209m primers on the last two rounds of shooting, but the last target with this load was so bad I did not count it. it was all user shooting error (girl with an gun got my attention )
switched over for my first time away from the hogndon family of subs. 5 shots of 65grs of American Pioneer 3f, cci 209 primers
the 5th shot was way off the target. and an 22 flyer 12in drift hit the out side of one the hits.
