Just received today's mail. Cabala's has an in-store sale on Blackhorn for $19.99 from 19-25 Aug.

I received the same flyer in the mail. Thank god I live 10 minutes from Cabela's! :happy0001: I'm going to pick up a few cans ASAP

at that price i'd be picking up more than a Few!

19.99 is less than what I can buy it for wholesale.... Perfect, I just bought my first ML to extend out my season and wanted to use BH after reading all the reports about it. Closest Cabelas to me is about 4 hours in Gonzales, LA.

Any one gonna be near Pensacola Florida any time soon? :biggrin:

I never thought I would see the day when we got excited about paying $20 for a 10 oz. can of powder for our MZ!! WOW.

Man i am in cali and the cloest store is in AZ.even at that price shipping and haz mat kills the deal. i have a bass pro near medo they sell it?

Ignore post i just called bass pro and they carry it $28.00,will pick some up soon. to bad we dont have a cableas here..

I do not shop at WalMart. But does WalMart carry the powder?? If so just take the Cabela's ad to WalMart and have them match the price. WalMart says they will match any price?? So what is the problem. My mom and girl frienddo it all the time. And WalMart will match the advertised price. As long as it is not listed as a close out.

I would assume there are other large retailers out there that price match. Does Bass Pro offer a price match?? Dick's is our local sporting goods store and they price match. As well as Gander Mountain. Tom.

I'm 99% sure Walmart doesn't carry it. The only brick and mortar retail chains that I know of are Cabelas and (now) Bassproshop. Gander Mountain might but I'm not sure.

Bass pro in Charlotte sells it for 45 bucks a bottle, I dont see where they get off selling it for that.

Well crap, you guys bet me to the punch. Just got home and saw the sale and was going to tell you guys. O'well, its a hell of a deal. Too bad I have 8 10oz bottles still or I would pick some more up.

That's a good price, but thankfully I have several bottles sitting on my shelf. I will probably regret not running the 100miles to get more when I run low but....

OK, I have been looking through all of the Cabelas in store adds (Cabelas outdoor days Aug. 19-25) on line to print out because Basspro will also price match and I can't find a dang thing about Blackhorn 209. :confused0024::confused0024::confused0024:

yeah received the same flyer today. Bad thing is my closest Cabelas is 3 hrs. away. By the time I pay for gas, unless I buy a case that would last me 10yrs. It is cheaper to go to the local chain at 40.00 a bottle.

Yeah, I thought it was kinda sneaky the way they slipped it right underneath the TC bonecollector. I bet they will sell out within the first few days of the sale.

We have two here in Virginia and they want $39.99. They are nuts. But the shelf is full, I think because no one buys it at that price.

FYI, the cheapest I have found it in VA is at Green Top for $31.

I was saving that for another gun but for that kinda money i had to stock up.

Bought a couple bottles at the KC Cabela's, still about 15 bottles on the shelf.........sure hope they have more in the back. Ended up spending most my money on a new XD-40 pistol.

In hind sight, I guess I shouldn't have given my wife that activated $150 cash card, should have went and bought more powder..........got to keep the peace thought!!

Dad and I bought 3 bottles from the KC store last night. I have nearly a full bottle already so I figured I only needed one more for this season (dad took the other 2). It's funny cause they didn't even have it marked down in the store and I thought there was a mistake with the ad. I took a bottle to the scanner and sure enough, $19.99. It's almost like they want to keep the sale a secret so they don't sell out too quickly.

I have their flyer and went thru it front to back twice and I cant find it listed. Maybe its only in certain stores?

Well, I made the trek to Cabela's today....I'm over $1100 lighter in the pocket. Yikes!!! 12 containers of Blackhorn should last me the rest of the year. lol New Sitka Stratus jacket and Bibs...plus many many other goodies. Funny....I don't feel guilty in the least. Been working my butt off for the last couple weeks.

At our local Cabelas, the fella behind the counter had 8 jugs there, and i took them, and asked for more. He said he had 10 more out back so i took 8 of them, and left the 2 for seed. I read the flier, but didn't see the sale price on BH, and only found out about it because of this thread. It kinda ruined things for all the rest of the folk here in town, but one has to do what one has to do. It turned out real good for me, because i activated a cash card for $75, which makes the per jug cost $16.50 including tax.

It sure is a good thing the 'secret' was revealed here by the 'read carefully' Semisane, because i missed it completely.

And I didn't buy a jug. :s2:

Neither did I......I have enough powder, just not enought bullets. Only have 150 rounds left. I wish bullets would go that cheap or atleast come 100 per box instead of 50.

Went today and picked up a couple of jugs along with some other items. I called Saturday evening they said they had 52 in stock then. Shure was busy there today.

Dang, the closest Cabela's to me is over 100 miles. I have been trying to find a deal on some Blackhorn.

Find the add for the TC Triumphs. The add for the BH is right under one of the MLs. Very small.

The store in Buda, TX doesn't have any and doesn't know when they might get any!!!

I am so glad I still shoot Goex... :)
