Good gosh Dave, a tornado in Wisconsin. I thought you were too high up for that kind of weather. At least not too much damage was done. You should of seen Charlotte after Hurricane Hugo came through; there was trees all over the city down. I lost power for 3 weeks. It has been in the mid 90s for about 45 days now. I have been archery and pistol shooting since the heat kicked in. A 357 and 25 yard shots i dont care how hot its gets.

Hey Dave, that place of yours looks a lot different without all that white stuff on the ground. Glad you sustained no serious damage.

We have been getting tornado warnings most of this summer. Makes me nervous, and i don't like the way it makes me feel. The worst so far is just 1" hail, which was bad bad for our garden. I would have been scared, being in a Tornado.

Funny you should mention that. Friends were over today and it was terribly hot and humid out. And they were laughing about not to worry because it would not be long before the snow falls again. You probably get more snow then we do.

Ron I never knew it was a tornado until I was called on my cell phone and told where the tornado was spotted. But I was lucky. It never damaged the house. All it did was give me a lot of exercise for the summer and fire wood of course. Although I sure miss my poplar trees. I really liked to put a tree stand up there in the fall and just sit there.

A buddy and me were hunting in a camper way back in the woods and placed right on top of the highest peak. A wicked thunder storm came thru during the night and the lights in the camper were flickering; what was amazing was that there was no battery or ac hooked up to the camper. I guess were somehow we had a high static charge on the camper. When we got up the next morning a tornado had cut off the dirt road we drove in on. The woods consisted of 10 year old pines. There was a 100 foot swath cut straight thru the woods for about 200 yards. Instead of hunting we ended up cutting a road back out of the mess of trees dowm.

deer655 you were lucky that you were not killed. Sounds like a close call for sure.
