I think IMR needs to fire their marketing / technical writer.
I read the WHOLE outer box of the White Hots and the Flyer that came with my new gun and here is the problem.
No where on the box does it say what the actual grain equivalent is for these pellets. Also the flyer shows the Velocity & KE charts for 2 pellets & 3 pellets for various bullet weights.
HOWEVER!!!
On the box and at the bottom of the flyer in EXTRA SMALL letters it states. "WARNING: When using IMR White Hots, NEVER exceed a total of two (2) preformed charges."
So my confusion is why put the Velocity & KE charts for 3 pellets when you are not supposed to ever use 3 of them. WTF over....
Am I alone in my confusion?

hodgdon has never recommended 3 pellet loads. They'll make them but you use that load at your own risk. Muzzleloading companies are the ones that are pushing people to use magnum loads... why? i do not know.
