When I ship any long gun I don't tell them it is a firearm. I tell them it is machined parts. I am not lying, just not being very explicit that's all.

If they want to be stupid and be asses and pull a bunch of crap with me, I can play too.

I ship USPS flat rate boxes for all the wax and honey I sell on line. I use to ship the honey by UPS but they some how managed to destroy a box with ten pounds of honey bound for Minnesota. They sort of Kind of desided I didn't need to know till I started asking questions when the buyer had not got his shipment of honey in 10 days. I've been doing USPS for 3 years now and not one lost package or broken one either.
As for shipping muzzle loaders and the post master refuses remember the ladder thing. His boss has a boss as does his boss and once the head boss twists some shorts things go smottttttttthly.
