Default Video - 2 Shots with a 2 Bore!

This video was taken at Friendship by the custom gun maker of the 2 bore gun that's being fired.
Get a load of its awsome power and accuracy!

2 bore.. that means each ball weighs 8 ounces. Two balls per the pound. That would deplete anyone's lead supply fast. I wonder how much powder they were shooting?

That's a lot of gun. Shooting it can't be good for your nervous system. I've read about some of the early hunters in Africa suffering such things as shoulder separation and retinal detachment from shooting those big bores.

I would love to shoot it once though.

(What velocity do you need with an 8 oz. ball to get proper expansion? )

Dug around a little , a caption says 350 grs of FFG. That's still a lot of ........................recoil from a projectile so heavy. I suppose it just pushes ?

I can't even go there , I don't like 1 oz slug in a 12ga .

I wonder what the gun weighs , you know the 50 maxi ball is not so bad in a 9# Hawkens over 80gr of FFG.

I might consider putting a limbsaver recoil pad on that piece of work there.
