Default 1847 walker or 1848 dragoon?

I love these replicas from italy. I saw where full power loads of 60gr of fffg will always make the loading lever fly open. According to one shooter, he said it was designed in on purpose because it was a flaw on the original.

Will the 1848 dragoon replicas with 50gr of fffg do this also? Was it fixed?

Sure bigcountry, there are LOTS of blackpowder shooters on this page - just not many handgunners I guess. You won't find a better forum for muzzle loading long guns.

The most active cap & ball hangun forum I've run across is The Firing Line. You may try asking your question there. http://thefiringline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=6

Do you have a flint or cap long gun?

Of course. Who doesn't?
