Yeah, I use 100 grains of Blackhorn. Hornady 300 grain XTP MAG. Harvester Crushed Rib Sabots (the green ones, my barrel was super tight, they load easier), and the winchester 209 primer. With this load I can shoot a less than 1/2 inch group at 100 and 1 inch group at 200 yards. I also put the Nikon Muzzleloader scope on it. I love the gun. You wont regret it. But every gun is different, you may have to change some things. But this would probably be a good base line.

115 gr Blackhorn and a 300gr Gold Dot or Lehigh. They shoot the same for me, and give excellent penetration as well as good good expansion.

A load that shoots good in my Triumph uses the 270g Gold Dot. A crush rib Harvester sabot fits the barrel, and 105g BH209 is lit by W209 primer. This load really smucks deer, and i believe it would also be real good on Elk. I've a hunch this 270g Gold Dot will be better for Elk than the 300g Gold Dot, since it isn't a hollow point like the 300g is.

I have been yet to work up a real good group with mine, but haven't shot it much either. powerbelts shot well in it, but I don't want to shoot them anymore. The federal fushions didn't group well at all and I am now starting to shoot Barnes TEZ so we'll see...I hope these group well, because I have heard good things about them.

My Triumph has several loads it shoots real well. My favorite load is the 290 gr barnes T-EZ with 120 gr triple 7 . It also shoots well with
110 gr BH209 and the barnes 290 T-EZ.
for pellets it shoots 100 gr ( 2pellets T7) and the 250 gr Superglide Shockwave.

50 Calty I am confused on your info. According to harvester website the green crushed rib sabots fit diameters of 429 to 430 and the bullets you use are 452 diameter. How can they fit? Like I said I am new to muzzleloading.

They do not. There is a quite a number of sabot made both for the different diameter bullets and the variation in barrels. Most sabots for the .429 - .430 bullets are green most for the .451-.452 are black. It might help if you went to Modern Muzzle loader and signed up and study the sticky that lists it all out.
