I wanted to start up again with American Pioneer/ Jim Shockey's Gold Powder. Today it was pretty cold out, mid 40's with light "Snow balls" coming down steady.
Today i started off with 80gr JSG 3F and the following Powerbelts & Standard CCI primers.
All shots are at 50 yards off of the Caldwell Tack Driver Bag.
295gr Aerotip Powerbelt

The good 'ol 338gr Powerbelt Platinum did not let me down on these 3 shots!

245gr Aerotip Powerbelt,

My theory to getting great results with APP-JSG is to use a heavy conical, tight patch combo, tight sabot combo to get the most consistency out of the powder. Heavy seating pressure also plays a big part. With light weight bullets like the 245 and 295 powerbelts, i do get a Flier shot here and there, but when using the Big 338 grain + Powerbelt, Accuracy is outstanding.
American Pioneer 3f will be tested next.
