Yes they do. I had one. It was one of the most accurate MZ's I have ever seen. But it was unbelievably finicky. It took me a month to find an accurate load. But once I found it, man would it shoot. I had to get rid of the rifle. The reason I got rid of it was simple. I could not get a second shot into the barrel. I literally mean that. Without a complete cleaning the sabot would not go into the rifle. I actually broke a rod trying to load a second round. I always clean my rifle at the range between shots, but basically I am a hunter. And having a rifle that you can not reload is of no use to me. So it had to go.
Now I know they make different sabots that allow them to go down the barrel easier, but I could not get them to shoot accurately. A great rifle?? Yes. But far too finicky for me. Tom.
