Default 1st shots with the peep

Hey everyone,
So first, I have to share this tid-bit. I was going to buy a peep sight for my bone collector and they are around 37.00. Well, surfing Midway USA website I found that you can buy just the peep portion to fit any williams wsr sight, for a mere 5.00 plus frt etc....so I did and arrived yesterday and fit perfect for a big time savings...so if anyone is looking to get a peep and you have the williams receiver and front sight, this is a cheap method.
Second, I went for a walk in the woods today and brought the bone collector with. I decided to shoot a few shots at 40 yds...knee as my rest upon completion of my walk...my first shot, I thought I had missed because I couldn't see it in the black diamond. The second shot I flinched and it is the one to up right side. The third and final shot, just a tish left of the first shot. I was pleased. Hope you all have had great weekend.
Was shooting 245gr hp PB with 2-50gr T7 powder Federal Fushion primers.

Hey Prohunter, how much distance do you have between your eye and that peep? How do you like it?

Semi, I love my T/C tang peep I put on my Hawken 45. Its only about 1 or 2" from my eye. And you can unscrew the aperature for a ghost ring when it gets low light.

Distance is right where it came factory mounted with the open sights, however, I am thinking of moving it back to the second position nearer my eye for a bigger field of view through the aperture. Not sure...but thinking about it.
