That's exactly what I have done. I can slide a dollar bill under both ears of the forearm and along the barrel. Not sure how much difference it has made but it gives me piece of mind knowing that their is no forearm pressure on the barrel.

Lee, tht is what a bnch of gys told me to do to get my gun shooting right. I tried and nothing I did cold ge it working right. But that idea of floating the barrel and utting a washer inder the screw hole does work on some guns. Just not mine!
