Thankfully no. Although that has been known to happen on occasion.

Just a FITP. I think I undercharged the pan and just got a poof.

Worked fine with a tad more 4f.

That's possible as I haven't had Ole Betsy out for a dance in a while. I did give her a poke with my pick before re-charging the pan. She seemed to like that.

I try really hard to finish the shot with my sight picture. Especially with the flintlock. I have found that it has made me a better shot with my faster rifles, i.e. centerfires and rimfires.

It just seem's to bring you back to the basics of shooting. I believe if you can shoot a flintlock well, everything else is a piece of cake. I'm still trying.
