Got very lucky and bought a nice, NIB TC Big Boar .58 cal for a nice price - $200. I have shot it and I am very much in love with it. See my range report.

Not me...Planning to go back and use my Knight this year (she's been under the bed the last 3 seasons)...

I'm spending my money on sabots and bullets...I know she likes Barnes 300gr MZ and the 250 Shockwaves but I want to see how she'll do with the .429 Hornadys...I''ve tried the .452s in 250 and 300gr and she didn't care for them...

I was looking at the ballistic coefficient of the .429 300gr XTP last night...Looks like that thing is pretty aerodynamic as far as most of these bullets...I'm curious as to how that will group at 150 yards...

Been thinking about trading my Triumph on a Bone collecter Triumph.

Hey Hawkeye, I have ben shooting these bullets in my H&R Sidekick for the last 8 yrs. It has successfully take deer every year I have owned it. It has done it's job nicely. I have never lost an animal or wounded one. The 300 gr is my favorite. I know you will have the same results.

And I assume Terry's resolution is no more shoes or purses? :p

Thanks, I've found a box of .240s and the .300s prepacked with the green sabots...I'm going to see which ones my Knight prefers...I'm hoping to find a load that will shoot fairly flat to 150 if I sight in 2-3 inches high at 100...

We are taking the week of muzzleloading off next year to camp on one of the farms and we already know it will be in beans...I'll probably use the flintlock in the morning in the oaks but it's hard to sit over a bean field with a flintlock where you know a 125-150 yard shot could present itself...:)

We all know Sabotloader and Semisane are going to sneak more rifles into the house. Them boys got the fever real bad... I on the other hand have been very proud of my no buying more rifles. Although I would like a custom one made..

It all depends on what comes out at the S.H.O.T. Show. I was thinking of the New ACCURA, but my pleas to CVA for a CVA Pro Team Hat have been unanswered, you'd think after shooting CVA's only for 20years that they'd give in. I know Im a cry baby,LOL! Mabey I should have kept that Triumph I sold........If TC comes out with a SS Barrel on the Triumph I'd get one. Does anyone know what's going on with TC and the mess the VP got in?????
