I like that 1-38 twist.
When you get around to it try PRB with 90+- gr of powder mine liked 90 gr.
It also liked 230gr Gold Dot in a sabot and the 200 gr.
Its an excellant rifle . Do you have the 45 or the 50? I had the 50cal.

its a 50 cal how well did yours shoot ? im wondering about how to sight in with the 2 sights any idea how they work and which one is what ?

I'm not familiar with that particular sight. Express sights are typically set up as: First leaf or standing bar is a shallow "V" for quick shooting regulated to 50yds, Subsequent leaves are usually "U" notched (to match a bead sight up front) for more precise shooting at 100, 200, 300 etc.

Really handsome and interesting rifle you have there!

Man ive been thinking do i really want to shoot this rifle ? has never been fired and going on 15 years old (new)

The ones with that twist were the only ones that shoot both PRB and sabots well for me also did well with the few conicals I tried. Lee

Jeep, it shoot good. I got groups under 3 inches with PRB and sabot s both with iron sights at 100yds. [Thats good for mewith open irons]. Lee

Jeep the 200gr and the 230gr 45 jacketed in a 50 sabot.
