Ya know BP, you may have something there. A friend of mine has that theory and this year he nailed some nice deer. I think I will give it a try next year. Hopefully I can get back to you with great results!!!
Good Luck and dont forget to remember me next year when your dragging out that Big Buck when all your Hunting Buddies are at home eating lunch or resting. (BP) |

During the full of the moon and the dark of the moon I have had the best luck during the middle of the day. Moon transit [when the moon is at the peak of its travel] http://www.usno.navy.mil/USNO/astron.../rs-one-day-us I go plan my hunts according to when the sun, rise, transit or set is with in two hours of the moon transit time. Go to this address and fill in the required info and it will show the sun and moon information for your location for what ever day you program. When the days get shorter the middle hours get better. Your are right about that. I have my own place and they often stand and watch me go past on the tracter during the summer. I think Raf has a pretty good spot to. Lee |
