WOW!!! that is some long range shooting on one of them little dogs. I bet he never took a step or knew what hit him. Coyotes are a pest, but they do have a job to do in the wild. They are a good clean up crew.

Talking

If you're familiar with the Ernest Shackleton expedition to the south pole they took 90 dogs with them to pull sled, but then found themselves desperate for food and had to eat the dogs. One of the journal entries said "It's not the eating of the dogs I object to, it's the liking of it". I've heard they go real nice with some type of apricote sauce, or ground and mixed with pork to make sausage.

Taste like chiken doesn't it?

Nice yotes guys. They aren't nearly as red here. But, pretty much mange-free.

Klundin,

That critter is an ugly sight Right where I'm at all the yotes have beautiful coats, but there aren't too many of 'em. I've never seen one that bad before.

Klundin2000,

You called that right, 2 years ago one of the disabled Vets I allow to hunt my property told me of letting a Mangy Coyote go by him. Everytime he sees me now he just rattles off, Coyote equals maximum effort to kill/Mangey Coyote is maximum effort including throwing gun at him if you run out of ammo. We now understand each other at a higher level. :-)
