I hear it has pretty good consistant velocities and easy loading after the first shot. It requires a 209 Primer to ignite so you CANT use it in your Sidelocks. It works the best when the Bullet provides a tight fit in the bore. It's suppos to be non corrosive, will not draw moisture and can be used as a substitute in blackpowder cartridges.
It's sold in 10oz containers wich will get you about 70 100gr charges at a cost of around $35. So let's here some more..............

BH209 is the only powder that i use. I use it in an Omega, and in an Accura. The W209 is the primer used in both rifles.
I leave my rifles loaded over night in the cab of the truck in all kinda weather. Be it rain or snow or blue skies. Be it 40* during the night, or as low as -19*. The Omega has never failed to fire; it fires with authority. The Accura has suffered one misfire, and one hang fire.
Both rifles have seen several nights of sub-zero temperatures. The Omega is 100% reliable. The Accura isn't perfect; hotter primers may be the answer, or perhaps a more concave face breech plug, or both.

It's all I shoot! I love the stuff and feel the benefits are worth the price. Here's the search results for the word "blackhorn" for your reading pleasure...

Bass Pro carrys it too but it is $44 there. Like said Cabela's has it on sale right now for $29.99. I am still trying to find it locally. If you have it shipped even at Cabela's sale price it will end up costing you over $59 after shipping and Haz Mat fees are added.

This is where I get mine $24 a can if you buy a case that takes the hazmat fee down to 2 dollars a can. So 10 can is only 26 a can about the same as 777 is around here.

Has it for 26. Best to buy by the case any way running all over looking for it is a pain. The local sports goods store here has it but they want 34 a can thats to much.
