Default Detachable Scope Mounts For Triumph

Anyone have any experience using detachable scope mounts? I'm going to mount a Nikon Prostaff on my Triumph and was thinking of using detachable mounts but wanted to hear what some of you guys thought first.

Also, I have the camo Triumph (including the barrel) and wanted to keep the scope and rings the same. Does anyone even make detachable camo scope mounts?

Any feedback/recommendations would be appreciated.

I used the T/C Gorilla Grips with success on my Genesis. You can pick them up at Walmart pretty cheap. They should be on sale now

I use QR mounts on my Triumph and I do really like them.... but, i went the expensive way and got Warne Maxima base and Warne Maxima QD rings - really is a good set up.

Are either of those made in camo?
Also, is the T/C setup detachable?

I've seen those at considerably better prices, but that may have been awhile back.

I mounted my prostaff with Leupold QD not cheap though. At the time they did not make camo. They return to zero dead nutz every time

I use Warne Maxima rings I have them on several rifles and they work great.

You can't fit much camo on a scope ring though you could spray them with some Krylon Olive Drab if it floats yer boat.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I think I'm going to pick up the camo Maxima rings from Cabelas and then just keep my eye out for a deal on the one piece camo base. Couldn't find the base on their website. Maybe I'll find one at the sportsmans show in harrisburg pa next month.
