Optima 209 magnum
#3
I have one and have no problem with it.To me it's a tough gun.No frills just BOOM.
I gave it to a friend to use and she shot it and never cleaned it,I got it back with alot of corrosion in the bore, cleaned it up and BOOM,everytime as long as I do my part.
I load it with 100g BH-209 / 200 grn Shockwave spire point (non bonded) / CCI-M primer / Center point 4x16x40 Optic
I put a Thumbhole stock on mine but the other was fine.
I am 6'8" and have big hands, the Optima has a deep pistol grip butstock that keeps my thumb out of the way and gives my trigger finger a straighter pull.
Before
After
This is a sight in target.
The target says 110 grn but I backed it down to 100 grn
I do not shoot well but the gun shoots fine.Good luck

I bought one for my wife last year and its a real shooter. Was using 245gr power belts over 90gr of RS. Early this year I shot some Barnes 250gr MZ over 90gr of RS, not quite as good of groups, but still an inch groups at a 100. Not a bad ML at all really.

Your better off using CVA Scope Bases and Mounts, I found it better to go with the MLer Manufactures Bases and Mounts than to try and find one made by someone else as you usually end up buying one and it does'nt fit, or they just plain dont make one that fits.
