There is some possiblilty of a problem... I have never seen it for me and I have been doing this for 7 years now. But you can always monitor the bore by simply running a dry patch now and then, while using that gun. Like in the evening when you get home from each hunt (again mine remains loaded) but I still run a dry patch just to 'feel' the bore.
As an example, my DISC was shot 4 times at the farm on 10/8 to check the POI - loaded on 10/9 for opening day on 10/10. It was not shot again until 11/2 (shot the load out at stomp) the week prior to 11/2 has been really bad weather wise, snow, rain, and a mix of both. I reloaded and then it was shot again on 11/19 when i shot that little 4x3.
Another thing to remember - I do not strip the bore before shooting. I use dry patches to get as much oil as i can out - but with the BC and the glycol ether in the product it drys very rapidly so there really is not much to get out.

if this was something that was O.K. to do because they'd say it would ruin my bore.
