Have a TC Triumph shooting a great group at 100yds, am using 2 777 pellets 250 gr. shockwave with yellow tip and black sabot, winchester 777 primers. Have shot 2 deer this week that have only run about 40yds. but not much of a blood trail. Any suggestions?

Where did you hit them, was the shot slightly high? If so the body cavity has to fill up with blood before it will reach the ground.
I use 110gr. 777 3F powder with a 200gr. Shockwave in a Harvester Crush Rib sabot in my Triumph. So far I have been very pleased with this combination, shoots very tight groups and performs well on deer. I tried the standard sabots that come with the 200gr. Shockwaves, but they loaded to hard for my taste. Swithed to the CR and they load so much easier now.

I have a Triumph too. I use the same load with the Barnes TEZ bullet. It does a perfect petaled out mushroom every time. It leaves a blood trail a blind man could follow. I used to use other bullets, but most lacked a great blood trail. With all that smoke I like a great blood trail. The Harveter Crushed Rib Sabot works good with these bullets too.
