Well, opening day was a bust! 2 of us hunting, with no deer sightings. YOu know its not going to be a great day(dont get me wrong, any day in the woods is a great day), when you are hunting the Minnesota gun opener with just a sweat shirt, and cargo pants on! just shy of 70 degrees for the Minnesota opener, go figure.

I feel for you, today here in Southwestern New York ithe Rut is in Full Swing and it was winday and warm, 67degrees, I did'nt even bother to go Hunting (Bow). Dont worry a cold front is on the way and the deer will move. Good luck to you guys, you'll get one!

I know the weather was not working in your favor. It was warm here also. Maybe when this cold front moves down, it will get them moving for you.

It looks like it is going to be in the 50's all week. I am not too worried, if we dont get anything this week durring gun season, we still have our 3 weel ML season, and some archery season left.

Ya i was going to go tomorrow morning. But 70 sunny no wind. Did not seem like a good day to hunt since it has been 60 down to 35 the last two weeks. Though it is going to rain tuesday part of wensday morning then sunny wensday afternoon and rain thursday. My plan is that partly sunny time wensday afternoon
