Thumbs up Triumph Bone Collector Review

So i finally got to shoot my Bone collector today because i finally got my scope back from bushnell...all i can say is what a tack driver...this thing is sweet...probably the best factory trigger on a muzzleloader ever...smooth and crisp...and i didnt believe that the flextech stock really worked...just thought it was a sales pitch but hell it felt like someone threw a goose down pillow at my shoulder...the speed breech xt is SAWEET...makes for easy swabbing between shots...not more pushing a patch down and pulling it back up...just pop the breech out and push from breech to the end of the barrel...and wah-lah...and you can check to see how it looks between shots in case you may not be happy with it...got it close at about 30 yards with 5 shots and stepped back to 100 yards and had it dead nuts it 2 more shots...i cant see this gun going anywhere for a long time!!!

Well I am glad I am not the only one that likes the flex tech stock and the Triumph I do not believe that there is any other strait muzzleloader that is even fit to compare.
Wait till you work out its best load and get your first 1/2 inch group with a muzzle loader. Lee

glad to see you guys like them i should have my camo triumph in a few days. though i did not get the bone collector i figured it was more looks and For the MW thing then anything. Might have been worth the extra money. My hope is to be hunting ready in one or two shoots. Got 30 sabots and two pounds of 777 so i should be good to go. This will be my first muzzleloader. A friend said why did you spend so much. I said it's a good rifle. Then he asked how far i would shoot. I said the omega scope is good out to 250 on the bdc thing. He said i never go farther then 150. I looked at him and said well maybe if you bought a 500 rifle a 250 scope and good sabots and powder you could LOL Can not wait to shoot it.

thats what i originally thought too but it is more than looks...the flextech actually works (i thought it was a gimmick myself)...the hammer extension on the bone collector is more than necessary because i dont think i could even get the hammer back with a scope on mine without the extension...and dont forget about the power rod that comes standard on the bone collector...the triumph in itself is an awesome gun with an awesome concept...i hope you love yours as much as i like mine

Hi, I got a Bone Collector this year also. I am getting consistent 1 inch 3 shot groups at 100 yards. Every once and awhile I get a clover leaf group! 200 yard groups are a consistent 2” inch with the Nikon BDC scope. I am shooting 120 Grs. of Blackhorn with 250 Grs. Shockwaves and Harvester Short Black sabots. I did have to sight in 1 ½ inches high at 100 yards to get a 200 yard zero with the BDC . I lost one of the energy burners from my stock . I called Thompson Center and they are mailing me a entire set. I am still waiting for them. I love how easy it is to clean this gun.
