Sorry for not being here

Guys, I'm sorry for not being here as often as I'd like. I've been extremely busy chasing a nice 8 pt here in PA (archery). I've seen him twice but always about 40 yds. I can easily make that shot on the range in the open, but I won't chance it in the woods and risk wounding him. I moved my stand yesterday to try and get closer to the old railroad bed he has been patroling. Well tonight I saw what looked like his daddy working through the thick stuff too far for a shot.
I haven't seen any signs of chasing yet which is odd especially with all the doe in this little honey hole I found. Going to get out again tomorrow morning before work and see if I can stick one of these guys. (keep your fingers crossed)

Good luck connecting on that eight, or his pappy.

Good luck chasing him Bronko. I got to bowhunt a few hrs last sat morning before I had to go to work. Saw a small 7pt bumping some does around. I am hoping this weekend things will get heated up some.

Bronko, good luck. I missed a huge deer this past weekend under my stand (had the buck fever bad to the point I could not steady the bow) Hope to try again this weekend. Here in Missouri the bucks are not interested with does yet as well. Guns start Nov 14, I hope it gets colder so they rut.
