Default Knight Disc help

I recently purchased an original disc 50 cal. on Gunbroker thru a dealer, when I recieved the rifle the breech plug was stuck, didn't really think anything about it. Got the plug to loosen up and the SOB had sent me a fired and uncleaned rifle. Needless to say it was badly pitted. I got most of the rust and corrosion out of it but still has pitting near the breech where the load sat. Long story short, The trigger assy, bolt and stock are all in great shape so if anyone needs any or all of these parts or has a suggestion of something to use to get the barrel cleaned up better give me a shout or PM

Sometimes people report pretty good accurracy with those pitted barrels after lapping them with JB bore paste. Have you contacted the seller? Have you given him a bad rating if he had misrepresented the rifle? How much did you end up paying for it?

It seems more and more of this is showing up at the gun auction sites. Its almost like some of the people selling could care less about a bad report on them. They usually answer with some Blah Blah come back of how they tried to make it all right with the buyer, and he refused to cooperate, and they are shocked he would have gave them a bad report.

Well you could shoot the rifle and see how well it does. Pitting near the bore is not the end of the world. I would shoot it and see how it does.

I will see if I can find some JB. Yes I left him bad feedback and so much as said he didn't give a Pelosi one way or another. Pd a hundred, guess if it is too good to be true it isn't.
Thanx guys!!!
