My dad who has a GPR and used to be known as the local pro of our chapter of dryballers made up a rig and used shop air starting at lower pressures using just enough to clear the ball, if any one trys this method make sure you have a back stop for safety. good luck hunting!

Heck, you can shoot a dryball out in your back yard. It only makes a loud POP.

Just be careful of your backstop... safety first.

You bet! Just point it down at soft soil three feet in front of you.

That may be true, but I live in a suburban area and don't want to freak out my neighbors.

I just got a CCW. Funny, it has made me super concious of being lawful. Not that I wasn't before, but I don't even want to risk doing something that might get my right to carry taken away.

I hear that Robert! I live in a suburban area also. Lucky though - all of my neighbors are hunters. In fact, the guy on the other side of my back fence is darn good with a pellet rifle and serves as our "tree rat elimination specialist".
