small issue

i have a tc encore katahdin 50 cal. i recently picked up some of the new harnady fpb bullets and a package of white hots. i was using ci 209's and i was having some primer tear?? what would cause this? also, accuraccy wasnt too too bad but ive had better from this gun. do you supose going back to loose powder would make a differaNCE. ANY SUDGESTIONS??

It could have been the primers not taking the back pressure from the White Hots. Personally if the accuracy is not there, go back to what you know works.

im going to try those harnadys w/ 90 grs of BH209. the ones i dug from the clay bank were text book. i think on deer they would perform really well. little bummed my crono didnt register any of my shots??? first time thats happened too. sun light maybe?

I shoot a 300 grain XTP in .44 caliber with green harvester crushed ribs. I've yet to shoot a deer with them because the deer are not cooperating, but one of these day I will connect.
