It sure doesnt look like it does it? LOL 9 days of hunting and barely eating, and hes still a hog.

Muzzleloading season is over. It was 9 days long. I could get an over the counter bull tag but thats like shooting into a bush at midnight. Especially since the unit has a 4 point restriction. Tomorrow i leave for new mexico to take my brother in law on his first muzzleloader hunt. His brother ended up buying a muzzleloader so im pretty sure i'll be teaching him how to use it and clean it.

Can't you use your muzzleloader during the regular season???

yep i can but just finding a 4 point bull is to hard around here. Next year we're going back up north and saying goodbye to southern colorado for hunting. Just not enough animals in this area.

MD do you know where the ghost town of Dawson is in NM? My wife's G G Grandfather was the Dawson. He had a huge ranch there until he sold to the mining interests. It's now an abandoned mining town about 40 miles south of you as the crow flies.
