You may have an additional rememdy. I had problems in the woods with the small #11 caps and gloves. I switched to musket caps. They are also good for additional power. They would work a lot better with syn. powders I would think.

I like you have used and continue to use BP in my sidelocks.

No one has mentioned Pinnacle Goex (not sure if that is right). I have heard of it, but never tried it. How about some one giving us a report on this powder. Anyone ever us it?

One thing else that you might consider is ordering your black powder. Unless you live in a state where it's illegal, it can be shipped directly to you by UPS. It's as easy as picking up the phone. You will need to FAX them a copy of your drivers license which they will keep on file for your future orders.
