Default Nikon BDC for Thompson 50 cal

Hey Guys,

I am having a hard time understanding how to sight in my new muzzeloder with the BDC. What is the best way to sight in? Do I use the crosshairs at 100 yards at 9x power? If so, what do I do from there? At what power? I am very confused. I am using 250 grain sabot, 150 grains of pyrodex as suggested....Please help

Stay Safe!

KC

With as good a scope as the Nikon you don't need to worry about what power its on it will shoot the same place on all powers.
If you have the Nikon Omega and "0" so that your POI at 100 is just over the cross hair then the center of the circles below that will be 150yd 200yd 225 yd and 250 yd.
I use 120 gr Blackhorn which gives about the same velocity and mine is dead on all the way to 250 yd. Lee
