I HAVE AN LK93 KNIGHT .50 CAL. AND WONDERED IF YOU CAN SIMPLY CHANGE NIPPLES TO CONVERT TO A MUSKET CAP? I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IGNITION USING 2 50 GR. PYRODEX PELLETS BUT UNDERSTAND THE MUSKET CAP IS HOTTER. ANY ADVISE APPRECIATED.

Probably. Contact Knight about the avaiability of the nipple you want!! I have found that musket caps are not hotter than CCI No. 11 Magnums. BUT, if you want HOT, go to a No. 209 shotgun primer. Now those ARE HOT!!

I don' t know about converting your Knight to a musket cap. www.midsouthshooterssupply.com sells conversion kits for Knight rifles.Converting to the 209 primer.If you' re interested check it out.

Loner, go to the Midsouth site. Click on Muzzleloading then accessories.They have the conversion kits there.

Hi loner ,
if you' re not having ignition problems then why convert ? If it ain' t broke don' t fix it . Going to a hotter cap won' t improve performance if you' re already getting reliable firing . I shoot CCI #11 caps , and I' ve never had a misfire with them . :)
