I think it has to do with seeing instant results, shooting at 250 yds at a 6 inch gong you can hear the smack and ring after the shotand see it swingwith the scope [I can barely see it with out the scope] and sitting there trying to hide the smile when I consistantly hit it and some of the high power rifle guys miss it, well after I won a couple times the range captain bar muzzle loaders from the rifle shoot.

File a complaint under the American's With Disabilities Act on the basis that muzzle loading addiction is a handicapping condition.

well you can not do that and still belong to the organization. They claim its the smoke but it never seemed to bother them till they got beat. It won't do them much good any way I have a 223 varmint rifle that I play with by putting a drop of honey on a little glued on shelf on the target so I can attract flies to splatter. The shooting is over this summer but I shall introduce them to the fly swatter next summer. Lee
