Default 209 Primers

Has any one tried the WOLF 209 primers and if so how did U like them ?

I have not but Widener's speaks well of them. $32/1000

My guess is they are fine. I would only wonder about possible ill-effects from the lacquer in a muzzleloader.

Well I have over 10K of Wolf 209s, and over 100K of SR, LR, SP, LP . if that is any indication of how i like them, they have been very popular in Benchrest shooting also. I bought them back in 06 when both houses got Dem. control.

We have used the 209s with our smokeless guns as well as with BH209. very good primer, and they are sealed for long life.

I also have use a number of Wolf products with out any complaint. I like the STS primer for BH best but that has to do with carbon build up in a TC gun rather than how well they work. All the wolf products I have used are of decent quality. Lee
