Hogs!
#12
I decided to take my wife hunting with me tomorrow. We're both going to cram into my ground blind before sun-up and take one of the smaller ones. The last big boar I shot was horrible eating and we want something for the freezer. So I'm going to take one of the smaller ones that are showing up in the morning. I'll get that big boar later. As usual I take some pics and post them sometime tomorrow.

Well I didn't get a hog this morning. My wife and I got there right when the feeder went off. So we scurried into the blind and got comfortable. We sat there for about an hour when a small boar walked out. He was probably 100-ish pounds. He proceeded to vacuum up most of the corn. He was out there in front of us for about an hour and a half. My blind is 53 yards from the feeder so we got a good show. I didn't take him because my wife said she wanted a sow and she does the cooking so... But it was fun.
He eventually winded us and took to the woods on the left of the blind. He was sniffing around looking for us and he actually got to within 10 feet of our blind. I saw him look at us and then turn and walk away. Then as we were leaving we had two hogs walk out of the wood about 20 feet behind my truck. Luckily for them it was after I had already cased my rifle. I might go back this evening but I'm not sure...
Okay, we're off to the Olive Garden for lunch and a little Bass Pro action!!!

The trail camra bit could be an interesting subject. Some like SW 's cuddieback have great speed and do a great job on clear pictures and work really good on a trail some like on of my Leaf River's are not as fast as I would like but work good on feeders as both the motion detecter and the camers lens have a wide angle, they also get great pictures. So far I have tried 3 different ones and I am looking for an other. The one I have had so far that was not much good by comparison was a Walmart 100 dollar one. I guess I have to spend some money to get decent results. Lee
Got to thinking about it and went looking found this sight interesting
