After a busy day in the woods, i still found time to make it to the range. For some reason i don't really know why but i brought my T/C Triumph. Bench shooting and bullet testing the Knight rifles are alot easier for me to use and hold steady versus the Triumph. But we made the best of it either way.
I shot these bullets with BH209 from 100grns to 130grns. The smallest group shot at 100yards was with 110grns and a MMP sabot. It would of measured about 3/4 of an inch and i forgot to take a picture. Actually taped over the group as well.
Here is the target at 100yds the Blue MMP sabot. The new harvesters didn't seem to work as well for me in the Triumph.

At the end of the Night i decided to shoot a group at 200yards. I was going to shoot 5 shot's. After seeing the three shot group i changed my mind real fast.

I'm going to send Dave an email tonight and tell him i have no issues with this bullet. Hopefully he will have them on the web-site very soon.
I still plan on shooting these out of my 45caliber and shooting them with some tips as well. Maybe even sunday if i get my yard work done.

I LIKE that 200 yard group...
I would also like to add of all the ML I shoot off the bench the Triumph requires more focus to shoot well. It is just so light it is just to easy to move... The heavier guns seem to be a bit more forgiving... but them hunting and packing a ML all day - golly! the Triumph has got to be great...
That 200 yard target is awsome...
I am hoping to shoot the 45 DISC tomorrow mornig if everything goes right..

that is some excellent shooting. Especially the 200 yard group is most impressive.
Speaking of shooting at the range... I wonder if that is one reason why that heavy Knight Disc rifle is so easy to shoot at the range on the bench. That thing is heavy. Another good shooter is a White. And they are another heavy rifle. Although then I have that Black Diamond XR which is a little heavy, but lighter then the others and it shoots great.
I think ease of shooting is also related to stock shape and dimensions. I handled the Triumph in the store and it did seem real light in weight. I actually liked the Omega better to handle.

That's a nice 200yd group! Do you have any idea what kind of energy that 185 will have at 200 yards?
If I remember correctly, these are the ones that were designed so that you didn't have to push them as hard in 1/28 barrels like the 200 correct?

BTW- i was asked on another forum to post a pic of the two 40cal Bullets side by side.
Okay, 185grn Bullet on the left. 200grn Bullet on the right.

nice shooting indeed. I'll be taking the 200's out with the Accura here in a bit. Going to set up a 100 yard target and shoot into the sand box. Only have a powder flask of powder left so this will be the end until i get more powder.

Grouse45: Nice 200yd group ! Certainly worth a try in my .45 Elite. Should be nice and easy on the shoulder with 90-100grs of BH209.
I admit... I'm becoming a wimp and it's not fun for me shooting over 110grs of BH209 !
