No bullets anywhere

Man, I have been trying to get 155 gr and 200 gr 10mm and 300 gr .430" XTPs for weeks from my local gun shop without any luck. Last night I checked Cabelas, Midway, Midsouth - no body has any.
The gun shop owner thinks that because of all the buying of guns lately, people are buying ammo for them and the manufactures can't keep up. Sounds logical.

You may want to search the classified ads on here and other boards. Craigslist in another. I have gone this route in the past month or two when my normal resources showed back order.
I have also seen people working bullet and (local) primer trades. Place a WTB classified and see if someone can help you out.

Boy did I luck out today. Drove by a tiny little gun shop out in the country. Pulled a U turn and went in. Picked up a box of 155 gr 10mm Hornady XTPs, and 2 boxes of Sierra 300 gr JSP .451" that he had sitting on the shelf. I feel a little more comfortable now that I have some more bullets on my shelf.
