Default 50 Cal Rene & a Lehigh

I had three .452/250 grain Lehigh's left and I was headed to the farm to shoot some PRB's and since we wondering what the 250 might do from a 1/48 - i decided to give it a shot. Not a very good test cause I only had the three - that order from Lehigh better get here soon....

Decided to shoot them from the PRB gun @ 50 yards as I had no idea where they might end up. I do wish I had a few more to put into the paper.

#1 is strictly my fault... set trigger blues - dang those thing are light when you set them. The next two fell home really well - a bit high but when you are shooting a PRB gun guess you get what you get.

Anyway here is the target... I believe they will shoot just fine in a 1/48

Thanks for the update. When i get my flintlock back i will give them a try as well. That's pretty darn good shooting with open sights.

Shee-zam that's some mighty fine shooting. And with that powder charge you have a good velocity as well.
