Appears bullets are getting better weight wise
#1
Got my new scale yesterday. Gave it 24 hours to warm to room temptures then began to check it out.
At one time as a reloader I weighed all my bullets and only use the ones for hunting that weighed what the box said. The weights then (70's and 80's) were plus or minus 10 grains adverage was 5 grains.
Today with 4 different bullets that didn't seem the case.
300gr. 50 cal Speer gold dots I use in MMP purple Sabots and my 54 cal rifle.

Does your scale have a 9V battery connection? It has been said that the 9V battery is a cleaner and more consistent power source, and will give you the most accurate readings.

Ya it has a 9volt battery connector. Problem is if it is like my old one you have to check the voltage of the battery about every 200 rounds because once the voltage got below 6 volts the readings went all kilter.
I'll stick with the 110 and surge protector.
