Since you said T/C as a brand I can assure you that the Renagade is the first T/C you should take a real good look at. Next would be a T/C hawkins, plains rifle and a couple of other side lock rifles for shooting with open sites. There are some other brands that are simular but you did say Knight or T/C.
You should also heed the advice of gun writers and wear saftey glasses when shooting. The bother is a very small price to pay to protect your eye sight. :D Al |

while i have no problems with the open sights on my triumph some do. the knight vision and shadow have no blowback useing knights new breechplug. karl

Assuming you can bring two guns along, I'd take an iron-sighted sidelock like a T/C Renegade with a peep, and a scoped in-line. Decide which to carry each day, depending upon how you're hunting.
Any excuse to have more than one gun is a good thing. |
