Default thoughts on win #11 caps

I used them with my cva hawkens. seemed to be pretty hot. no ignition problems. split almost every cap in half. even the 2 I used to clear.

I was only using 50grs and an round ball.

I have had cci mags do the same thing. so I still say they are cci mags in a pricey win. package

sadly I did not get to get any one clearance at wally world they where all gone before they went on sale

These are Winchester #11 caps? Never seen them before. They must have started making them when they came out with their Winchester Triple Seven 209 primers. They sound like good caps.

Yeah I used these in my old muzzle loader and I got them at Wal-Mart. No complaints from me.

I use the Winchester 209 primers I got from a gun store in my new muzzle loader. I need to get some more as my cleaning stuff spilled all over them and ruined the box. They have still shot fine soo far but not sure I'd trust them for hunting anymore. I may get a new box for hunting and use these just for targets.

How long can you expect caps and primers to last? I have some #11 caps from last year left from the pack I used and then have a full box I bought on sale that I haven't opened. Will they still be good in a year or two?
