Great stuff! I just finished stripping my kentucky's stock and then hit it with 320 grit sand paper and rubbed 2 coats of birchwood casey rusty walnut stain. Beautiful color! I want atleast 5 coats of them stuff on and then the original oil finish goes on.
This stuff really does high light the figure in the wood.

Just to compair. 2 coats VS 6 coats. The forearm also got a thin rubbing of Original Oil Finish. The OOF seems like it will finally give me the look i have been after.
Also did a bit of work on the lock area as you can see. I just wish i would have had more wood to work with but i guess thats the down fall when you order it complete and not the kit.

OK MD - You finally made a mistake. You didn't hideMY Mountain Rifle good enough in that first picture. I see it there behind the chair. Now you better send to me priority mail today or I'm calling the ML police.
