RE: Mountain Rifle
Very nice MD. But I really like the wood on the 54 better. But be that as it may, you got a couple of pretty rifles.
Is that an L&R lock? |
RE: Mountain Rifle

RE: Mountain Rifle
That nice even browning you put on that barrel is mighty fine.

RE: Mountain Rifle
NICE! What method did you use to brown the barrel? I'm looking to do that on my Bobcat, but not sure what the best way is.

RE: Mountain Rifle
Laurel Mountain Forge.
If you are interested you can send me your bobcat barrel and i'll brown it for you, free of charge, as long as you agree to pay shipping back to you. I have more than enough to do your barrel. |
RE: Mountain Rifle

RE: Mountain Rifle
im not sure yet if i will go with either a .562 or .570 mold. Right now its loving 100gr RS with a .531" ball wrapped in a .040 patch. It shoots way low, so that tells me its just not building up the pressure that it needs. I'll buy the mold as soon as i make up my mind. I hear .562 is an accurate ball vs the .570 but hell, i will probably end up buying both.
