Nice Combo Dave, looks like you got a winner! Was the Barrel Treated with MX BC???? let us know when you get to shoot them 200ydrs. BP

Yes that barrel was treated and still is with the Montana X-treme products. And before I shot, all I did was take a dry patch and swabbed the bore. I never even popped a primer through the breech plug. That was why I was kind of excited when the first two shots at 25 yards, were basically the same hole. I want to test that a lot more. Because I hate the idea of cleaning every night, but if I foul a rifle, I will clean it that night. If this rifle can behave like that and shoot consistent to the same POA, that will be a big plus in the hunting adventure.

Also I hate to admit this.. this rifle seems to like those Pyrodex RS pellets. It just pounds a spot when you load them things.
