Got a TC Encore Endeavor!!! *PICS*
#1

Some of you may remember I posted a topic about TC Encore's a few days ago. I was wondering what the differences between the Endeavor and the Pro Hunter are. I posted the same topic over on MML also and got a PM from a member over there. He had an Endeavor that he had only fired 5 times just to dial the scope in and he wanted to sell it. He said it fired great, but he wanted to invest in a very expensive bow and had to make room/money for it. I've been really wanting one so I bit. He only wanted $675 for it and was including the Leopold base and rings. Needless to say I was all about it. It just so happens that he lives in SC and I was heading his way this weekend to do some hog hunting. So I met him in Darlington, paid him and drove off with this beautiful gun!

The whole deal was so coincidental is was kind of spooky. This is the exact version of the Endeavor I wanted. For that price and being that I was able to buy it in person and avoid finding someone with an FFL to have it shipped to, I just couldn't pass it up. I'm stoked!!! And it is super clean! Other than having to scrub all the Bore Butter out of it, the thing is spotless!

WOW, I'm excited for you. I have one and love it. Let us know how it shoots. Are you going to try BH209 in it. Mine loves the stuff. I have the same rings and bases on mine with a Simmons Aetec 2.8 - 10 X 44.

I'm not sure I like the base/rings. It looks like it will cause the scope to sit way too far forward for my liking. It's already about a half inch ahead of the breech plug and then another half inch before the ring. I plan to mount a Nikon Omega and it already had crazy eye relief. With that much relief I'm not sure I'll like it. I'm going to order the scope and try it out first before I decide whether or not I'm going to swith to a different mounting solution.

I usually do not get too excited about an inline for looks, but MAN THAT IS A SWEET LOOKING RIFLE!!!! That would be the exact model and features if I ever convinced myself into getting one. I want to see some of your range reports because your so careful about them and take time to do it right. I am sure that will be a good shooter. It sure is sweet.

I think you will like the "Flex Stock" . I have the Pro Hunter with it and I believe it does make a difference along with the Limb Saver recoil pad. I think that BlackHorn powder has a sharper recoil curve compared to black powder or Pyrodex.
