RE: What is the difference???
Welcome aboard.Cayugad said it all as usual. If he were to ever write a book on all his pet loads and setups he would make a fortune from all of us who would be waiting in line to buy it. I remember when I started, no one in my family had a muzzleloader and it was intimidating but I started like you by reading as much as I could on here and other sites, many whom we are all on as well. Ask anything and read your manual to better understand your gun. Each gun is different and shoots different all we can tell you is what works for our guns. I shoot 250gr Shockwaves with the supplied black sabots and they shoot excellent for me with 100grs of Pyrodex Pellets, that's 2 pellets that are 50grs each and I always use a Remington 209 Kleenbore primer and never had it fail when a deer is in the area. The best thing you can do is go to the range and practice and get comfortable with the gun(s) you have. Once you start there's no turning back and we all get more guns to tinker with. Do not ever be afraid of asking any questions.
