Triumph, get him the huntingnet/Black powder special:
triumph+BH209+250gSW+Harvester short black sabot+huntingnet.com= Disease+ 2 more ML
Just the speedbreech XT and lack of blowback from that plug, plus not to mention they are tack drivers would make me pick the Triumph hands down.

According to the MA laws, 'hinge action (break open) muzzleloaders are NOT permitted.' According to everyone I could talk to about this, including gun shop owners, DFG guys, and reps from T/C, this indeed makes the Triumph illegal in MA during primitive firearms season. I hunt with an Omega.
This makes absolutely no sense, there is minimal difference between the actions on the Triumph and the Omega, but there you have it.
(Even more confusing: it's legal to hunt with a Triumph during shotgun season, but not during primitive firearm season.)
