They shoot well for me but I've not tried over 110 grains of powder with them. 150 grains will put quite a hurt on your shoulder for very little gain in performance. With my 110 grain load I wouldn't hesitate to shoot an elk at 200 yards, I see no reason to push it any harder.

you're nuts! I shot a few 295gr powerbelts with 110gr pyrodex rs and my face was numb all day.

Well when you touch off 150 grains with a 350 grain conical, you're going to know it. Personally I would start with 100 grains tops. See how they shoot with that before you beat yourself up.

I just bought a bunch of them myself. I have not had a chance to shoot them. But those I have read their posts claim, 100 grains is an accurate load.

Do it...Just make sure you make a video and give us all the link...

I agree with Cay...I've already had a detatched retina...When the doc tells you that you have a 20% chance of losing sight in your shooting eye, he gets your attention...

I have been using them ever since they came out for hog hunting. I just bought the whole rack from the clearance Isle at Walmart for 5 dollars a package. They are a type of conical with an expanding base as such I believe the loads you will find good accuracy with will be limited in charge to under 120 gr personally after trying a number of loads I found good accuracy with 90 and 100 gr and acceptable accuracy with 110gr of BH, after shooting them a while I settled on 100 gr BH as my hog load, I have taken 2 boar with it and the 100gr load both opened well and gave complete penetration in a 240 pound hog. My feeling about 150 gr loads is they only add to recoil after about 135 gr and only a few guns show any accuracy at that heavy a load plus the fact that the point of efficiency is about 110 gr. Lee

Sighted in my Encore with the FPB bullets last fall. Groups were not fantastic: They were about 2.5-3" at 100 yards. Bang floppedtwo big sows with that bulletusing 120 grains of of 2F Goex Pinnacle. Neither hog was hit exactly where i aimed-the zero is off. Will take that gun out tomorrow tore-zero.

Change, will take the gun to our place in Garvin county,re-zero it today and also do some hog hunting. There is a huge boar hog there i have named Osama bin Laden. Osama-i am after you.

I shoot them with 100 gr Pyrodex RS. They shoot great.

I'd switch to loose RS (or Select) powder, then start with 100 and work your way up to the point where accuracy degrades or 130 grains, whichever comes first. Report back to us on your results. I'll be doing the same thing this summer.

I bought five packs of them from wallyworld as well and plan to try them in both the accura and genesis. I have always used power belts with good success and feel these will work well also.
