I have a pro hunter. It takes 2 hands to pull the hammer back. I sent it to TC and they replaced spring and said it was within comp spec. It is a little easier now but still takes 2 hands, Any solution ?

Try loading the 209 primer and snapping the action shut. Now you don't have to slam it but a firm snap should do the trick. Give it a whirl and let us know the results.

I have a heavy (after market) hammer spring in my PH. It is tough to pull back but you can still use one hand. I never heard of a PH with a stock hammer spring that required any unusual effort to pull it back.

Thanks to everybody for all of the help! I am going to try the Black Ice. Tired of seeing such a good gun weatherso badly.
