posting is not all that hard. Where are you uploading them to? I use Photobucket. Upload them (in a friendly size please) to Photobucket albums. Once the picture is in your album, under the picture will be a "direct link." Its the second one down. Click on that address and it should flash the word "copied" Now come to this forum to your post. Click on the last icon in the tool bar on top. It will open a window for you. Click in the window. Then right mouse click and "paste" that address in that window. Accept that and you should see your picture form in the post you are making.. try that and if it does not work let me know in IM's and I'd be glad to help you more.

What Cayugad said.

Another way to do it.

The file was probably too big. This site allowsphotos no largerthan 100 kb to be attached. Go to Power Toys for Windows and download the Image Resizer.

Once the Image Resizer isdownloaded running click once on thephoto you want to resize. Click File and then click Resize Pictures on the drop down menu. Then you can attach the resized picture to yourpost.

The Image Resizer works with Windows XP but will not work with Windows Vista. It can be made to work with Vista but it is a big deal.

sign up with Photobucket. Upload your pictures using their supplied uploader. After they are uploaded just copy the HTML Code and bring up there area of the forum where you type and you will see a tiny little yellow button with looks like 2 small mountains and a sun in the sky. Click on that and right click and scroll down to paste.

Dont make me break out the digital cam

vvvaaa,
To embed a picture the file has to be jpeg and has to be under 100 kb. If the photo was smaller than 100 kbs as you mention, make sure of the file type. Was the photo taken with a digital still camera or camera phone?

Hey vvvaaa, when you get ready to upload you photos to Photobucket, look inthe box on the Photobucket screen that says Upload Images and Video and find the pull down option that says

Reduce to _______ more options.

Use to pull down menu to select 800 x 600 (15" screen) before you upload the pictures. That size is the most user friendly for most folks on the fourm.
